Shift Brewer
Join the Brew Team at Snake River Brewing Co. in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! Take a crack at our lineup of award winning beers and innovate fresh new brew ideas at the oldest brewery in Wyoming and most award winning small craft brewery in the country.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure a safe work environment and a culture that embraces safe work habits.
- Ability to perform and troubleshoot all functions of the brewery and warehouse per standard operating procedures, including but not limited to, raw ingredient handling, wort production, yeast management, dry-hopping, barrel handling, filtration, quality assurance, record keeping, and general cleaning.
- Maintain equipment and operating systems to ensure proper working conditions and perform preventative maintenance as directed.
- Communicate any known mechanical, raw material, and/or beer quality issues to brewery management.
- Ensure all core brands match the established quality standards as directed.
- Report, evaluate and interpret wort and beer quality daily, including analytical results, process consistency, and taste based on training and guidance from brewery management. Implement changes to improve processes, recipes, beer flavor and consistency as directed.
- Ensure production areas are always clean and organized.
- Perform canning line/warehouse duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- A working knowledge of OSHA requirements and a proven track record of focus on building a safety culture.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members both inside and outside the brewing department.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects.
- Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day) performing job with and around moving machinery and lift up to 55 lbs. and move 165 lbs. of kegged beer from one location to another.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of related experience or training in a production brewery environment a plus.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- A BA or BS degree and or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Formal Brewing Education.
- Forklift Certified.

Lab Technician
Join the Brew Team at Snake River Brewing Co. in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as our Lab Technician!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure a safe work environment and a culture that embraces safe work habits.
- Manage daily fermentation log.
- Monitor fermentation progress.
- Secondary processes, such as dry hopping.
- Yeast management.
- Addition of fining agents and adjuncts.
- Quality control testing for contaminants and off flavors. Batch to batch quality testing.
- IBU and ABV testing and calculations.
- Lead off flavor training with brewing and sales teams.
- Participate in brewing conference trips and beer judging competitions.
- Maintain clear and accurate records.
- Maintain equipment and operating systems to ensure proper working conditions and perform preventative maintenance as directed.
- Communicate any known mechanical, raw material, and/or beer quality issues to brewery management.
- Ensure all core brands match the established quality standards as directed.
- Report, evaluate and interpret wort and beer quality daily, including analytical results, process consistency, and taste.

- Ability and desire to lead class-room environments for off flavor training.

Front of House Manager
Snake River Brewing is looking for a full-time, year-round individual to join our team as a Front Of House Manager!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- The manager position oversees all Front of House operations of the restaurant and reports directly to the General Manager of The Brewpub.
- Responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Train new employees.
- Resolve customer concerns and staff conflicts.
- Work with POS system dealing with cash transactions, refunding customers, discounting, etc.
- Assist at all levels of front of house operations as needed (hosting, food running, bartending, cleaning…).
- Assist with scheduling.
- Assist and manage closing operations.
- Must be able to responsibly work around alcohol.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Toast POS, a plus.
- Passion for craft beer and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire to learn more about the brewing process & operations of the brewery to be able to effectively sell beer in-house.

- 2+ years experience working in restaurants.
